Application to Serve on
City of Rockwall Boards and Commissions

Thank you for your interest in serving on a City of Rockwall board or commission. To be considered to serve, you must be 18 years of age or older, and you must live within the corporate limits of the City of Rockwall. The Rockwall City Council considers applications for most boards and commissions in the summer months each year with terms beginning and ending in August. REDC and Main Street Advisory Board appointments occur annually in the December and January timeframe.

The City Secretary’s Office retains submitted applications for a period of two years. After two years, interested applicants are encouraged to resubmit a new application. If the City Council is interested in considering you for a board or commission, the City Secretary’s Office may contact you to arrange for an interview with the Mayor and Council.
