On February 7, 2011, the City Council voted to prohibit off-premise non-profit banner signs throughout the City. This prohibition will go into effect August 7, 2011. Any banners displayed after this date, must be on-premise, with the banner referring to goods, products, or services provided at the location on which it is displayed.

The City has developed a website to advertise your events, as an alternative to posting the banners at Ridge Road and I-30.
