The City of Rockwall supports a variety of community-based programs and activities that enrich the local cultural arts and promote tourism in efforts to increase the local economy. Funding for these programs and activities are in part supported by Hotel/Motel Tax revenues. The City provides general operating support to eligible organizations under Title 3 Local Taxation, Chapter 351, Municipal Hotel Occupancy Taxes Section 351.101(a)(4) in exchange for Cultural/Tourism events and services to the citizens of Rockwall over a 12-month period...More |
