And when the line-up includes regional acts like the Django Walker Band from Austin, Hanna's Reef from the Texas Gulf Coast and Angie Stevens and the Beautiful Wreck from Denver, Colorado, Rockwall concert-goers are enjoying top-quality entertainment on a regular basis for free!

When Rockwall hosted six consecutive months of free outdoor concerts in 2009, it confirmed its reputation as the hottest music scene in North Texas. It didn't matter whether the concert featured classic rock from Petty Theft, nuclear polka from Brave Combo, stomping bluegrass from Beatlegras or upbeat jazz from the Freddie Jones Jazz Group, musicians played for an average audience of 3,000-5,000 at The Harbor Amphitheater.

As its reputation solidified within the music community, many Rockwall clubs and restaurants reaffirmed their dedication to presenting live music. Today the City of Rockwall, along with clubs and restaurants throughout the community, is proud to present a year-round schedule of live entertainment. That's why we're the Live Music Capital of North Texas.
