	Strategic Planning - Reporting

	Modifying Measures & Taglines The Balanced Scorecard is an ever-changing process. Specific organizational changes may not change the public perception with respect to certain issues. This brings the need for thye ability to change particular aspects along the way relevant to the surrounding circumstances.
	To modify a measure, target and tagline, it is proposed that:
	► Department Heads may modify measures and targets within their rerspective departmental business plans as needed. ► The City Manager may approve measure and target due date adjustments if requested by the Department Head. ► The City Council may approve adjustments to Focus Areas and strategies, as they deem appropriate.
	Please keep in mind that targets are ever-changing and if neccessary we will revisit the strategy should meeting a target be unrealistic based on unforseen circumstances. Reporting Procedure & Schedule An electronic "snap shot" report will be presented to the City Council on a quarterly basis.
