Leaders of Tomorrow The purpose of the Rockwall Youth Advisory Council is to provide participation by the local youth in municipal government. The Youth Advisory Council is consultative in nature only and charged with evaluating relevant issues and submitting its recommendations to the Rockwall City Council and other pertinent parties. The Rockwall Youth Advisory Council is an energetic group of high school students varying in ages from 15 to 18 (Sophomores to Seniors) who work with the City Council to answer the needs of our youth. Activities of the Youth Advisory Council include:
	♦	Annual trip to attend the state-wide Youth Conference (which is held at various locations throughout the State) sponsored by the Texas Municipal League
	♦	Fund Raising/Community Service Activities
	♦	Monthly meetings
	♦	Participation in Special activities such as the City’s Annual Birthday Celebration
	♦	Hosting Candidate Forums during elections
